So now you’re here – what are you going to do? Well, you won’t be bored, that’s for sure! On the farm, there are a wide variety of beautiful horse trails. Also, you cannot afford to miss the trip of a lifetime and explore Lesotho on horseback for a 2 or 3 day adventure.
Once back at the farm our friendly staff is more than willing to point you in the direction of one of the beautiful hikes around our 1300 hectare of land. Stop off at Blue’s pool for a cooling dip and a jump from the waterfall. Alternatively, a hot summer’s day is best spent floating down the river in one of our tubes.
For large groups and corporate events, we are more than happy to organise a whole day program for you filled with activities such as orienteering, raft building and horse relay races.
Feeling adventurous and want to go further afield? Take a short drive down to Ukahlamba National Park and try one of their clearly mapped out hikes, such as the famous ‘Rhino’s Peak’ or ‘Sleeping Beauty Cave’. Maybe even spend a night in a cave and make it a 2 day hike.
With 7km of river front there is plenty of (trout) fishing to be done. For more information regarding other waters in the area go to the Underberg Himeville Trout Fishing Club.
Also there are 4 different mountain bike trails of varying distances on offer, one more stunning than the other. Bikes can be rented in town. For Mountain Biking enthusiasts our farm forms a large part of the Sani Spoors circuitry.
Furthermore, local operators, whom we will gladly contact for you will take you out on 4X4 trails up the Sani Pass or water rafting through some gnarly rapids.
Go and try some awesome cheeses at the Underberg Cheesery, and work your way through some deliciousness and some crafts at Puckety Farm or check the history at the Himeville Museum.
