Tailored for intermediate to advanced riders, we can also take keen beginners on our 3-hour trail.
With a variable route across the expanses of Khotso, this trail is designed to get the best out of the local area whilst giving you the time to properly get to know your steed.
Come as close to nature as you like, horseback riding really is the only proper way to see the mountains, the wildlife and the natural beauty of the Southern Drakensberg.
With exhilarating views, a good chance of spotting Cape Vultures, Crowned Eagles, Eland and Blesbok, the 3-hour trail shows off the best of Khotso and the surrounding land. Whether you’re down by the Mzimkulu River, or climbing one of the farm tops, you’ll be sure to leave confident in the knowledge you’ve experienced the best of the area, with the photographs to prove it.
With a complimentary sandwich lunch, there’s time to kick back and relax whilst enjoying being a part of nature – our experienced grooms or volunteers will help make sure you’re getting the most from your ride.
The 3-hour ride starts at 10am or 2pm – though with advance arrangement, we can try and work out a time that suits you best.
